Detectives with the Benton Police Department have made an arrest in relation to numerous property crimes that have occurred recently.  The suspect, identified as Taylor Peden (22 YOA) of Traskwood, was charged on 1/13/15.

On 1/9/15, at approximately 9:11 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the Saline Memorial Emergency Room in reference to call about a victim with a gunshot wound. Upon their arrival, officers make contact with the victim in the case who told them a suspect had shot them.

The holiday season has ended and school districts throughout central Arkansas are again back in session.  This means neighborhoods with school zones will once again see an increase in both pedestrian and vehicle traffic during the morning and afternoon hours.
