On 9/14/15, at approximately 5:11 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to request for a civil standby while two parties exchanged belongings. Upon their arrival, they made contact with both parties involved in the incident.

On 9/1/15, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to Wal-Mart (17309 I-30) on report of counterfeit currency. Upon their arrival, they were informed by employees that an individual had passed a counterfeit one hundred dollar bill and that he was still in the store.

On 8/30/15, at approximately 10:03 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department (BNPD) attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of Shenandoah and Old Congo Road. The vehicle initially slowed down, but then kept travelling towards Congo Road and eventually Military Road.
